The Challenge Is Real
Dust Hazard Analyses are now a regulatory requirement under NFPA 652 and NFPA 660 — yet many facilities struggle to find qualified professionals who can lead them effectively. The consequences of a poorly conducted DHA are severe: missed hazards, non-compliance, and ultimately, increased risk of a catastrophic dust explosion.
Most safety professionals are expected to lead or support DHAs without formal, structured training. They piece together knowledge from standards and on-the-job experience, often without the proven workflows, templates, and facilitation skills needed to do the job right.
What You Will Gain
Master the full DHA process — from hazard identification and dust sampling to ignition source evaluation and mitigation strategy selection — so you can lead analyses with confidence.
Go beyond theory with proven DHA workflows, hazard identification checklists, and real-world examples you can apply directly at your facility or for your clients.
Earn the CDHA™ designation — a credential that demonstrates your expertise in leading Dust Hazard Analyses and your commitment to NFPA compliance and worker safety.
100% online with no travel required for the core courses. Work through the program on your own schedule, with 12 months of access and ongoing instructor support.
Program Curriculum
The CDHA™ program combines four online core courses with the 8-Hour DHA Facilitator™ Course — which includes a four-hour live training component — plus your choice of electives to build complete, practical DHA leadership expertise.
